Nah, Fallout 1st is totally optional. Think of it as icing on the cake. You can fully enjoy the cake (aka Fallout 76) without it, but if you want a more deluxe experience with some neat bonuses, then Fallout 1st might be worth checking out.

Fallout 1st? No way. Bought the game, never subscribed, and I've been building my base and battling mutated creatures without any issues. It's all about the base game, folks!

Nope, you don't need Fallout 1st to jump into Fallout 76. It's a subscription service offering extra perks like private servers and exclusive items, but the game itself is a one-time purchase. So, grab your Pip-Boy and start exploring the wasteland with or without Fallout 1st!

Short answer: No. Long answer: Still no. You're good to go with just the base game.

If you're a Fallout 76 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
