Do You Need Nintendo Online for Local Play in Animal Crossing?
CaringEthos路8 months agoNope, you don't need Nintendo Online if you're just looking to do some local play in Animal Crossing. You and your buddies can visit each other's islands just fine as long as you're all connected to the same WiFi network. It's only when you wanna visit towns over the internet that Nintendo Online becomes a must-have.

No, Nintendo Online isn't required for local play in Animal Crossing. Local multiplayer lets you hang out on the same island without any extra subscriptions. But remember, if you wanna travel far and wide to distant islands over the net, that's when you'll need Nintendo Online.
Absolutely not. Local play = no Nintendo Online needed. It's all about that couch co-op (or, well, same room play) vibe. For anything online beyond your living room, then yeah, grab that subscription.
Gonna be that guy, but seriously, local play without Nintendo Online is the way to go for a chill Animal Crossing experience. It's a game best enjoyed in the same room with friends, not through a screen.
