Nope, you don't need PS Plus to play the single player mode of GTA 5. Just fire it up and you're good to go. But for online? Yeah, you gotta have it.

Honestly, it kinda depends on what you're looking to do in GTA 5. If you're all about that solo life, cruising around Los Santos on your lonesome, then no PS Plus needed. But if you wanna mess around in GTA Online, then Sony's gonna want you to fork over that PS Plus subscription fee. It's worth it though, tons of fun.

Yeah, if you wanna jump into the online chaos of GTA 5's Los Santos on PlayStation, you'll need PS Plus. It's like the bouncer at the club – no PS Plus, no entry to the online party. But for the single-player campaign, you're all clear to cause mayhem without any subscription.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
