Yep, if you wanna play Terraria online with your friends on PlayStation, you're gonna need PS Plus. Local multiplayer doesn't require it though, so you can still team up with someone on the same console without PS Plus!

Honestly, just get PS Plus. It makes everything smoother for online play, not just Terraria. Plus, you get free games each month, so it's worth it.
