Nope! While Terraria is available on Steam for Windows, macOS, and Linux users, it’s also out there on consoles like PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, plus mobile devices running iOS or Android. So, you’ve got options — Steam is just one of them.

Steam's great and all, but not a must-have. I've been playing Terraria on my Switch and it's just as epic. No Steam, no problem!

Actually, you don't need Steam if you're playing on other platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, or mobile devices. Terraria is super versatile so it meets you wherever you prefer to play.

Steam? Not necessary unless you're on PC and want that version. Terraria's everywhere, man. Consoles, mobile - take your pick.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
