Nah, you're good to jump straight into Fallout 4 without playing Fallout 3. While they're both set in the same universe, each game's story is pretty standalone. You'll miss some neat callbacks and Easter eggs, but nothing that'll confuse you story-wise.

Absolutely not! I skipped Fallout 3 and dove right into Fallout 4 and didn't feel lost at all. The game does a great job introducing the world and its mechanics, even if you're new to the series.

Quick take: Nope, skip straight to Fallout 4. It's like watching a movie sequel without seeing the original - you'll get the gist.

Gonna be the odd one out here, but I think you SHOULD play Fallout 3 first. It's not about needing to for the story, but more about seeing how the game evolved. Plus, Fallout 3 is a masterpiece in its own right.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
