You absolutely don't need WiFi for the core Animal Crossing experience. I've spent countless hours redecorating my island and fishing, all offline. But, the game updates and multiplayer aspects do require an internet connection. It's kinda the best of both worlds!

Nah, you don't need WiFi to enjoy the main features of Animal Crossing on your Nintendo Switch. Most of the game's content is accessible offline, like fishing, bug catching, and island designing. WiFi comes in handy for updates and visiting other players' islands, though.

Nope. WiFi not required for single-player. But, it's a must for multiplayer fun.

WiFi? For catching fish and paying off Tom Nook's endless mortgage? Nope, not really. But if you wanna show off your island paradise or snag some unique items from friends, then yeah, you'll need to connect.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
