Actually, you absolutely don't need Game Pass to play games you've bought and downloaded. Game Pass is just for accessing the library of games included in the subscription.

Nope! You only need Xbox Game Pass to play games that are included in the subscription. If you've already purchased and downloaded a game, you're good to go without Game Pass.
