Yeah, you'll need Xbox Live Gold if you wanna play NBA 2K23 online. For solo modes, you're good without it!

For all the juicy online features in 2K23, like MyTeam and online matches, you'll need Xbox Live Gold. Offline play doesn't require a subscription though.
