Unfortunately, you won't be able to enjoy R6 multiplayer without Xbox Live Gold. But hey, single-player situations mode is still available!

Yes, you do need an Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription to play Rainbow Six Siege online.

I learned this the hard way. My Xbox Live Gold expired, and suddenly all my R6 matches were out of reach. Definitely need it!
