Actually, the first 'weapon' you get is a machete! It's near the Vault 76 entrance, so you won't miss it. It's perfect for slicing and dicing those early enemies. Plus, it gives you that wasteland warrior vibe right off the bat.

Yep, you do start with a weapon in Fallout 76. Right after you leave Vault 76, you'll find a Pipe Pistol and a Meathook not too far from the Vault entrance. It's not the fanciest arsenal, but it's enough to get you rolling as you start your adventure in the wasteland. So, don鈥檛 worry about having to punch radroaches to death!

Nah, Fallout 76 makes you work a bit before you get your hands on any real firepower. But honestly, stumbling upon your first weapon makes it feel like you've struck gold.

If you're a Fallout 76 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
