Absolutely, Zelda amiibos do work in Animal Crossing! When you scan them using your Nintendo Switch, they usually unlock some cool Zelda-themed items in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It's a pretty neat way to spice up your island with a touch of Hyrule!

Not all of them do what you'd hope. While it's true you can scan Zelda amiibos in Animal Crossing, some might only give you generic responses or items. So, if you're expecting every Zelda amiibo to drop epic loot, you might be a tad disappointed.

As much as I wish you could, you won't get Link as a villager. But hey, decking out your room with Zelda gear? Totally worth it. Scanned my Link amiibo and got some cool stuff!

Yep, they work! But don't expect Link to move in next door. You'll mostly get some neat decorations and possibly the ability to summon the respective Zelda character at the campsite or photopia. It's more of a cameo appearance than a full-blown crossover.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
