Does 0 damage count as combat damage in MTG?
Actually, 0 damage counting as combat damage doesn't make sense. If nothing happens, how can it be considered damage? Just my two cents.

No damage, no problem! In Magic The Gathering, 0 damage still counts as combat damage. It's like swinging a sword and missing, but it still counts as an attack.
Yep, 0 damage does count as combat damage in MTG. It might sound a bit weird since 0 isn't exactly doing any harm, but it's all about the action of dealing damage, not the amount. So, if you've got a creature that triggers some effect when it deals combat damage, it'll still trigger even if the actual damage is a big fat zero.
