No max, but good luck shuffling a 300-card deck without looking like you're trying to wrestle a small octopus. Stick to 60 for your sanity.

In Magic The Gathering, there's technically no maximum deck size, but your deck must be able to be shuffled within a reasonable amount of time by hand. That said, the minimum deck size is usually what you'll focus on, which is 60 cards for most constructed formats. However, commander decks require exactly 100 cards. Just remember, while you can go overboard with the number of cards, keeping to the minimum allows for better consistency in gameplay.

Actually saw someone try to play with a 200+ card deck once. They spent more time trying to shuffle than actually playing. Stick to the rules if you want to have fun!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
