Absolutely not. Different devices, different ports. Trying to fit a Steam Deck into a Switch dock is like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.

Tried it. Doesn't work. The connectors are not compatible, and the Steam Deck is a bit too beefy for the Switch dock anyhow. Plus, the official Steam Deck dock has more features tailored for PC gamers.

Nope, a Switch dock won't work with the Steam Deck. The two are like apples and oranges, tech-wise. The Steam Deck uses its own docking station designed specifically for its unique hardware and connectivity needs. Plus, the Steam Deck's dock has those extra ports you won't find on a Switch dock.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
