Actually, werewolves are NOT wolves in MTG. They have their own creature type because, you know, they're more than just your average wolf. They've got their own issues, like moonlight-triggered anger management problems.

Short answer: No. Long answer: Still no, but it's because the game differentiates between 'Wolf' and 'Werewolf' as creature types for the sake of mechanics and flavor. Always check your card types!

Yep, in the world of MTG, a werewolf is basically a wolf's angry cousin. So no, werewolves don't count as wolves. They're considered their own unique creature type. So if your deck or strategy relies on buffs or interactions specifically with wolves, those cards won't work with your werewolf cards. Gotta love the specifics!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
