Absolutely has local multiplayer, but IMO it's kinda restricted. You're all stuck on the same screen. So if you're the type that likes wandering off, might not be your cup of tea.

Yup, Animal Crossing: New Horizons definitely supports local multiplayer! You can have up to 4 players on the same system playing together in couch co-op style. Just pass the joy-con controllers around and you're set to explore your island paradise with friends or family. It鈥檚 a great way to spend a chill afternoon, tbh.

Oh definitely, ACNH lets you and up to 3 other friends run around your island at the same time on a single console. It's super fun to have your own little island community!

Yes and no. Yes, it does have local multiplayer, but honestly, it's way more fun to visit each other's islands online. You get more freedom that way.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
