Ya don't NEED Nintendo Online to enjoy Animal Crossing: New Horizons. You can still play the game, decorate your island, hang out with your animal friends, and catch all the bugs and fish your heart desires. The catch is, without Nintendo Online, you won't be able to visit your friends' islands or invite them to yours, which, let's be real, is half the fun. So, it's not required, but for the full experience, I'd say it's pretty essential.

Nope, not required at all to get started and have fun. But if you wanna show off your island or see what others are up to, you'll need it.

Honestly, playing ACNH without Nintendo Online is like eating a sandwich without bread. Sure, it's doable, but why would you?

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
