Honestly, internet for ACNL? Barely. The core of the game is all about chilling in your village solo. But, wanna spice things up with friends or nab some unique items during events? That's when you hit up that WiFi.

Nah, you don't need internet to enjoy the main features of Animal Crossing: New Leaf. You can totally immerse yourself in your village, interact with the animal residents, and partake in all the activities like fishing, bug catching, and so much more offline. Internet only becomes a can-do for visiting other players' towns or downloading the occasional update or special event content.

Nope, not at all. Been playing ACNL for years and hardly ever used the internet. The game's a blast solo.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
