Yep, it works on the 2DS. No 3D, but who needs that when you've got a whole town to run?

Absolutely! Animal Crossing: New Leaf works like a charm on the 2DS. The 2DS supports all games made for the 3DS, just without the 3D feature. So, you can enjoy all the village antics, fishing, and bug catching without any trouble.

Honestly, playing on the 2DS might even be better for some. The 3D aspect of the 3DS was cool but kinda gimicky. Plus, not having to mess with the 3D slider when you're trying to catch a rare fish in Animal Crossing? Priceless.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
