Nope, Apex Legends is primarily a first-person shooter. But, there's a twist! During certain in-game activities, like using finishers or in the lobby, the game switches to a 3rd person view. Adds a bit of spice to the gameplay, doesn't it?

Apex Legends doesn't have a 3rd person mode for general gameplay. Sticks to first-person to keep things intense and up-close!
Actually, there was a limited-time mode called the 'Third Person Mode' a while back for an event. It was pretty cool but not a permanent feature. Most of the time, you're looking through the eyes of your legend.
