Nope, Apex Legends doesn't require you to port forward to play. The game does a pretty good job of managing connections on its own. Most players can just load up the game and start playing without messing with their router settings. However, if you're facing connection issues, port forwarding could potentially help, but it's not a must-do step for everyone.

Only if you're having serious connection problems should you even consider port forwarding for Apex Legends. And even then, it's more like a last resort than a necessity.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
