Does Apex Legends need to be on an SSD?
Nope, no need. I've been playing on a regular HDD since launch and it's been fine. Sure, it's not as fast as my buddy's setup with an SSD, but it hasn't stopped me from enjoying the game or being competitive.

Not really, but it helps a lot! Apex Legends can run on a hard drive (HDD), but putting it on an SSD will decrease your load times significantly. This means you'll get into the game faster and experience less lag when loading maps. If you've got the space on your SSD, it's definitely worth the move.
SSD is overrated for Apex. Yes, it loads faster, but it won't make you a better player. Focus on improving your skills rather than obsessing over load times.
Absolutely, put it on an SSD if you can. Apex Legends is all about fast-paced action, and every second counts. Being the last squad standing means loading in as fast as possible to grab the best loot. SSDs help with that big time. Plus, smoother loading textures and environments just make the game look and feel better.
