Gotta correct a common misconception here: Apex Legends, along with other free-to-play games on Xbox, doesn't require an Xbox Live Gold subscription. Microsoft updated their policy, making it even easier for everyone to enjoy these games. So, no Gold needed, just download and play to your heart's content!
