Nope, it's mostly action and comedy. Romance is like the seasoning, not the main dish.
As someone who's watched the whole series, I can confirm there's a bit of romance, but it's mostly a side dish to the main course of comedy and action.
While Assassination Classroom isn't a romance anime, it does have some sprinkled-in moments of love and crushes among the students and even some teachers. Gotta balance out all that assassination training with some heart-flutters!
