Yep, Banishment definitely works on commanders in MTG. It's a way to temporarily remove a pesky commander from the battlefield. The great part? Since commanders can be sent back to the command zone instead of exile, it becomes a handy tool to disrupt your opponent's strategy without permanently getting rid of their commander.

Short answer: Yes, it works. Banishment can target commanders just like any other creature on the battlefield. But remember, the commander can be returned to the command zone, so it's more of a temporary fix.

Actually, I think Banishment on a commander is a bit of a waste. Sure, you can target them, but savvy players have their commanders back in action in no time. Better save that spell for a real game-changer, IMO.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
