Actually, no. 'Enters the battlefield' effects only trigger when a card moves from one zone (like your hand) to the battlefield. If a creature card or token is already chillin' on the battlefield and then becomes a copy of something else, it doesn't leave and re-enter the battlefield. It just gets a new look.

Nope, becoming a copy of something doesn't trigger 'enters the battlefield' effects in MTG. When a card becomes a copy, it's already on the battlefield, so there's no entering happening. It's like wearing a Batman costume to a party; you're already at the party, just changing outfits!

No, it doesn't. Changing into a copy of something is more akin to a metamorphosis that occurs on the spot. No new entry, no party.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
