Bulking doesn't really save on weight unless it's aluminum or lead. The real benefit is selling stuff easier to vendors or just neat stash organization.

Yep, bulking items in Fallout 76 does reduce the weight of some materials, but not all of them. Mainly, it's helpful for managing your stash limit rather than reducing weight across the board. Aluminium and lead get lighter when bulked, so focus on those if inventory weight is your main concern.

Nope, it's a myth. Only aluminum and lead actually weigh less when bulked. For everything else, you're just wasting plastic.

Honestly, it's more about stash management than weight reduction. Bulking helps keep things tidy and some resources like lead and aluminum do get lighter, making it worth the plastic for those.

As someone who's spent too many hours than I'd like to admit in the wastelands of Fallout 76, bulking is my go-to for space-saving. But, don't get your hopes up; it's mainly for aluminum and lead. Pro tip: Save your plastic for these!
