Nope, buying physical MTG packs doesn't typically get you an online code. Most of the time, what you get in the physical world stays in the physical world, meaning your MTG booster packs won't include codes for MTG Arena or other online platforms. However, there have been some exceptions during special promotions or with specific products, so always worth checking the packaging!

Short answer: Generally, no. You don't get online codes with standard MTG packs. But keep an eye out for special products that might include them!

I bought a ton of MTG packs hoping for some online action in Arena, but no dice. No codes in standard packs, learned that the hard way. But hey, opening those packs was still a blast!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
