Absolutely not! Cascade is all about getting extra spells for one, not decking yourself. Your library gets a break because everything goes back to the bottom, not to the graveyard. Plus, I've used cascade loads of times and never once milled myself out with it!

Nope, cascade doesn't directly cause you to mill out in Magic The Gathering. When you cascade, you exile cards from the top of your library until you exile a nonland card that costs less. Then, you can cast it without paying its mana cost. All the exiled cards that weren鈥檛 cast go to the bottom of your library in a random order, not your graveyard. So, you鈥檙e not losing those cards permanently or 'milling' in the traditional sense!

Short answer: No. Cascade puts cards on the bottom of your library, not in your graveyard, so it doesn鈥檛 mill you.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
