Damage doesn't stack. When combat damage happens, it happens. Gotta plan your moves without relying on the stack for damage.

Nope, damage doesn't go on the stack in Magic The Gathering. That's old school rules! Since the rules change in 2010, when they introduced the Magic Core Set 2010 (M10), damage goes straight through and can't be responded to with instants like it used to. Back in the day, you could stack damage and then use tricks or abilities, but not anymore. Now, you've gotta think ahead and plan your moves more carefully!

Actually, I liked it better when damage went on the stack. Made for some epic gameplay moments and sneaky wins. The game has changed, though, so we play by the current rules!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
