Does deathtouch occur during fights in MTG?
AttemptingDance路7 months agoYup, deathtouch definitely works during fights in MTG! When creatures fight, it's just like they're dealing damage to each other in combat. So, if a critter with deathtouch gets into a fight, it can take down any creature it deals damage to, no matter how big that creature is. Handy ability when you're looking to clear the board!

No, it doesn't鈥攌idding! Of course, deathtouch works during fights. If your creature with deathtouch so much as breathes on another creature during a fight, consider the other creature toast.
Absolutely does! Deathtouch in MTG applies anytime damage is dealt, fights included. It's like your creature just needs to poke the other with a pointy stick and bam, done for.
Deathtouch during fights? Overrated. Why rely on fancy abilities when you can just overpower your opponent with sheer force? Just build a stronger deck.
