Nope, destroying a creature doesn't flip or unflip it in Magic The Gathering. If you've got a card that's in its flipped or transformed state when it hits the graveyard, it stays in that state only for as long as it's relevant on the battlefield. Once it's off the field, it doesn't matter anymore since it's considered a new object.

Short answer: no. Destroying doesn't flip cards back. Whatever form they're in when destroyed, that's how they're considered in gameplay terms.

Actually, flipping cards is more about specific conditions spelled out on the card rather than destruction. So, if a creature is flipped because of an ability, destroying it won't flip it back. Gotta read those card texts!

Nah, MTG doesn't work like that. Destroyed = removed from play as is, no take-backs or flip-backs.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
