Absolutely, language can make a huge difference in the value of Pokemon cards! English cards are generally the baseline for value, but Japanese cards often have a higher value due to their limited availability outside of Japan and the perception of authenticity. However, it's not just Japanese; cards in less common languages or first editions in any language can fetch a higher price. It's all about rarity and demand. So, if you stumble upon a Pokemon card in a language other than English, it might be worth more than you think!

tbh not really unless its japanese. those tend to be worth more cuz collectors like the original stuff. other than that, most languages are worth about the same.

As someone who's been collecting Pokemon cards for years, I've noticed that yes, language can affect value but not always in the way you'd expect. Japanese cards are often sought after, but so are cards in other languages if they're rare in that language. It's a niche market, but there's definitely interest.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
