Actually, I prefer using the web version of Discord on my Steam Deck. No need to install anything, just access it through a browser. Super easy and gets the job done for voice chats and messaging.

Yep, Discord works on the Steam Deck! You just gotta install it through the Desktop Mode. Steam Deck runs on a version of Linux, and Discord has a Linux version available. So, boot into Desktop Mode, download Discord for Linux, and you're set to chat and hang out with your friends while gaming.

Can confirm, Discord runs fine on Steam Deck. It's a bit of a workaround since you need to switch to Desktop Mode, but once it's installed, it works like a charm. Just don't expect it to be integrated into the SteamOS interface directly; it's more like running a separate app alongside your Steam games.

Nope, don't see the point. Steam has built-in voice chat, and for everything Steam Deck is, adding Discord feels like overkill. Just game on it.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
