Not entirely! Disney owns the rights to Spider-Man's character for merchandise and animation, but Sony owns the film rights. It's complicated, like most superhero relationships!

Disney has rights to Spider-Man for TV and merchandise, but Sony holds the exclusive film rights. They have a deal so Spidey can be in the MCU.

Disney and Sony share Spider-Man like two kids arguing over a really cool toy. Disney gets the cartoons and merch, while Sony keeps the movies.
