EA Play is not included with Xbox Live by default. However, it is part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which combines Xbox Live Gold, Xbox Game Pass, and EA Play into one subscription. Smashing deal if you ask me!

As someone who thought the same thing, I learned the hard way. You need Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to get EA Play. Xbox Live Gold on its own won't cover it.

Short answer: Nope. EA Play comes bundled with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, not Xbox Live Gold.
