Nah, Epic Games doesn't own GTA. Rockstar Games is the mastermind behind the GTA series. Epic Games Store might offer GTA titles for download or even for free during some promotions, but they're just the distributor in that scenario, not the owner.

Just to set the record straight, Epic Games doesn't own GTA. They did give away GTA V for free once, which was awesome, but Rockstar Games is the true owner.

Nope, Epic does not own GTA. They've had GTA V as a freebie before, but owning and giving away are two different playgrounds. Rockstar Games holds the reigns here.
