Nope, 'exiled' in MTG doesn't mean 'dead.' When a card is exiled, it's considered removed from the game entirely, which is different from being in the graveyard. So, cards and abilities that interact with dead creatures (those in the graveyard) won't see exiled cards. Think of exile as the card being in a whole other dimension where graveyard rules don't apply!

Exiled =/= Dead. Cards that are exiled miss out on all the graveyard fun. They're not considered dead, so you can't resurrect them or count them for death triggers. Remember, exile is the game's way of saying, 'You, go sit in the corner.'

Short answer: No. In MTG, exiled cards aren't dead. They're in timeout.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
