Goku doesn't meet Bardock directly in the main series, but they do have a brief moment together in the episode of Bardock special.
In the original Dragon Ball Z series, Goku never gets to meet Bardock face-to-face. However, in Dragon Ball Super: Broly, Goku sees a vision of Bardock when he learns about his father's heroic final moments.
I watched all of Dragon Ball Z and Super, and Goku never gets to meet his dad directly. They sometimes connect through visions, though!
