Does haste allow free damage when played in MTG?

Absolutely not. Haste just means you can attack right away. If the other side has blockers or anything, they can still stop you. It's about speed, not invincibility.

Haste lets your creatures attack the turn they come into play, but calling it 'free damage' might be a stretch. It definitely gives you the edge by letting you swing in before your opponent might be ready, but they can still block or use spells to disrupt your plans. So, yes, haste can lead to damage, but it's not always 'free' as your opponent gets a say in it too.

As someone who's played their fair share of red decks, haste is the thrill of dropping a surprise on your opponent and watching them scramble. It doesn't guarantee damage, but it sure puts the pressure on!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
