Yep, Helm of Awakening is basically a group discount card. It reduces the mana cost of ALL spells by 1. So, make sure you're ready to deal with your opponents potentially casting spells cheaper too. It's like a Black Friday sale but for magic spells. Use it wisely!

100% yes. Helm of Awakening doesn't pick sides. Everyone gets the discount whether you want them to or not. Great for making friends, or enemies, depending on how you look at it.
