Does Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Take Place in the Past?

Not really! The confusion might stem from the Shibuya Incident arc that's anticipated to be a big part of Season 2. This arc happens right after the events of Season 1, continuing the story. However, there could be flashbacks that give the feeling of a past setting, but the main storyline definitely progresses from where Season 1 left off.

Yeah, Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen isn't a jump to the past. It sticks to the timeline where Season 1 ended. But, get ready for some intense flashbacks that might make you feel like you're time traveling!

Nope, it continues from Season 1. Any 'past' scenes are just good ol' flashbacks.
