Nope, killing a creature in MTG doesn't count as discarding. Discarding specifically refers to when you throw a card from your hand to the graveyard. Killing a creature means it's moving from the battlefield to the graveyard, totally different actions in the game!

Nah, discarding is all about the hand-to-graveyard action. When you off a creature, that's more like sending it to creature heaven (or hell, depending on the game you're playing). Different rules!

Actually, no. Discarding is specifically a term used for cards going from hand to graveyard. Killing a creature is considered destroying it and sending it from the battlefield to the graveyard. They're like apples and oranges in the MTG world.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
