Totally, laminating Pokemon cards is a big no-no if you're looking to keep their value up. Collectors usually prefer cards in their original state, and any modification, including laminating, can significantly decrease their worth. Think of it as locking your card away in a plastic prison that most serious collectors will shy away from.

Laminating Pokemon cards? Ouch, that'll hurt their value for sure. It's like drawing a mustache on the Mona Lisa and expecting it to be worth more.

Actually, I did laminate a Pok茅mon card once because I was young and thought it would protect it. But when I got older and more into the collecting scene, I realized it had lost value because of the lamination. It's all about keeping them as close to their original state as possible for the collectors.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
