Yeah it does! Japanese cards are sometimes cheaper than their English counterparts, but if you're looking at rare or vintage cards, Japanese ones can be way more expensive. It's all about rarity and demand.

Absolutely, the language on a Pokemon card can have a big impact on its price. For instance, first edition cards in Japanese tend to be more sought after by collectors, often fetching higher prices due to their rarity and the origins of the Pokemon franchise in Japan. On the other hand, English versions of rare cards are also highly valuable, given the massive player base. But don't underestimate less common languages; they can sometimes surprise you with their rarity and value too!

Short answer: yes. Some languages are just rarer, making those cards pricier.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
