Does leaving Pokemon cards in the sun bleach them?
TabulatingMadam路7 months agoOh, totally! Leaving your Pokemon cards out in the sun is like inviting a vampire into your house and expecting it not to bite. The sun's UV rays can fade the colors and make those cards look like they've seen better days. I learned this the hard way when my Charizard card turned into a pale shadow of its former fiery glory. Definitely keep those cards in a cool, dark place unless you want a deck full of ghosts.

Absolutely yes, sunshine is no friend to your Pokemon cards. Those UV rays are like kryptonite to the ink, leading to faded colors and a loss of that vibrant look we all love. So, if you're thinking of sunbathing with your favorite Pikachu card, maybe think again unless you want it to turn into a faint Pikachu sketch.
Nah, a little sun won't hurt. I leave mine out all the time and they're fine.
Yes, and not just bleach them! UV rays can also damage the card material itself over time. It's not just about the colors fading; the card can become more brittle and less valuable as a collectible. It's always best to store them in a place that protects them from direct sunlight.
