Does '- -' kill indestructible in MTG?
RollingHank路7 months agoActually, yeah, giving an indestructible creature minus toughness is a sneaky end run around its 'can't be destroyed' shield. It's like making it so weak it just ceases to exist.

Nope, '- -' effects like lowering a creature's toughness can indeed remove an indestructible creature from the game. Indestructible means it can't be destroyed by damage or effects that say 'destroy,' but if its toughness goes to 0 or less, it's still headed for the graveyard!
Nah, indestructible is invincible. Wrong! Even gods can fall to math. Minus their toughness to zero and even indestructible creatures have to pack it up.
