Does the Mirror Image card override the legend rule in MTG?

Nope, Mirror Image won't save you from the legend rule. If you copy a legendary creature with Mirror Image, you'll have to say goodbye to one of them as per the legend rule. It's like inviting two Gandalfs to the party - one of them has to leave.

Actually tried this thinking I was clever during a game night. Spoiler: I wasn't. Copied my legendary creature, and immediately had to choose which one to keep. The legend rule doesn't care about your Mirror Image shenanigans.
