Does mutate keep the top or bottom attack in MTG?
DemonstratingUnit路7 months agoIn Magic The Gathering, when you mutate a creature, the mutated creature will have the abilities of all the cards in the stack, but for power and toughness, you use whatever is on top! So, if you put a creature on top with higher attack, that's the new power your creature will have. It's like stacking pancakes; the one on top gives the flavor.

Top card rules! The creature's attack and defense are based on the top card in the mutate pile. Simple as that.
Actually, it's the top card that decides the attack value, not the bottom. So always think about which creature you want on top of your mutate stack.
