In Magic The Gathering, when you mutate a creature, the mutated creature will have the abilities of all the cards in the stack, but for power and toughness, you use whatever is on top! So, if you put a creature on top with higher attack, that's the new power your creature will have. It's like stacking pancakes; the one on top gives the flavor.

Top card rules! The creature's attack and defense are based on the top card in the mutate pile. Simple as that.

Actually, it's the top card that decides the attack value, not the bottom. So always think about which creature you want on top of your mutate stack.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
